Delete Your Account

Effective 18 August 2026

Which Accounts This Page Covers

Servicedrome is operated by Karina Burambekova, a sole trader registered in the United Kingdom. This page explains how to delete your Servicedrome account and what happens to your data when you do.

It applies to your account on all of the following, which share a single Servicedrome account:

  • Servicedrome — the app for students looking for a driving instructor (Android and iOS).
  • Servicedrome Business — the app for driving instructors (Android and iOS).
  • servicedrome.com — the Servicedrome website, including the instructor site.

Deleting your account removes your access to all of them. You do not need to delete separately in each place, and uninstalling an app on its own does not delete your account.

How to Delete Your Account in the App

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from inside the app. The same steps work in Servicedrome and in Servicedrome Business.

  1. Open the Servicedrome app (or Servicedrome Business if you are an instructor) and sign in to your account.
  2. Tap Menu in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Find the Account Access card and tap the edit (pencil) icon in the top corner of that card.
  5. In the Account Access window that opens, tap Delete Account.
  6. A Confirm Deletion window asks you to confirm. Tap Yes, Delete.

Your account is closed the moment you confirm, and you are signed out automatically. This cannot be undone — a deleted account cannot be restored, so make sure you have anything you need before you confirm.

On a desktop browser the path is the same once you are signed in: open Settings from your profile menu, then follow steps 4 to 6 above.

What Happens to Your Data

Your personal details are erased as soon as you confirm. A few things do stay, because some records have to be kept by law and some content belongs to the other person in a conversation as much as it does to you. This is exactly what happens.

Immediately, when you confirm deletion

  • Your account is closed permanently. There is no grace period and no way to restore it — neither you nor we can reopen a deleted account.
  • You are signed out and can no longer sign in. Access is revoked immediately, on every device and by every sign-in method: email and password, phone code, Google, or Apple. Sessions that were already open stop working straight away.
  • Your profile details are erased. Your name, profile photo, phone number, and — if you are an instructor — your biography, your quote, and every contact handle you listed (WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook Messenger) are permanently removed from our database. Your profile photo is deleted from our file storage.
  • Your email address, phone number, and Apple sign-in are erased and released. They are removed from your closed account record, which also means they are free again: you can register a new Servicedrome account with the same email address or phone number whenever you like. It will be a new account — a deleted account cannot be reconnected to a new one.
  • Push notifications stop. The device tokens that let us send notifications to your phone are deleted, so no Servicedrome notification can reach your devices again.
  • Your sign-in credentials are destroyed. Your stored password and any outstanding password-reset link are erased, along with the phone-verification records for your number.
  • Your profile is no longer shown. It disappears from search and from the public instructor listings on servicedrome.com, and saved or shared links to it stop working.
  • Other users can no longer reach you. Nobody can send you a new message or a new lesson offer. In conversations you already had, your name is replaced with Deleted account.

Kept after your account is closed, and for how long

  • An anonymous record that the account existed. Your name, email address, phone number, and photo have been erased from it, so it no longer identifies you. It is kept for a maximum of six years after closure for tax, legal, or accounting purposes.
  • Transaction records. The date, value, and product of any purchase, kept for the same maximum of six years to meet tax and accounting obligations. They are linked to the anonymous record above, not to your name. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never store your full payment card details.
  • Messages you sent to other users. A conversation belongs to both people in it, so the messages you sent stay visible in the other person's chat history, shown against Deleted account rather than your name.
  • Reviews. Reviews you wrote about an instructor stay published, because other students rely on them — but they are anonymised: your name and photo are removed and the review is shown as written by Anonymous. Reviews written about you as an instructor also stay published. Ask us by email if you want a review you wrote taken down entirely.
  • Files you shared with other users. Attachments you sent in a chat, or with a lesson request or an offer, stay available to the person you sent them to, for the same reason as messages.
  • Records needed for safety, fraud prevention, or legal claims. Kept only where necessary, and for no longer than the same six-year maximum.
  • Marketing data. Deleted within 30 days of you withdrawing consent, as set out in our Privacy Policy.
  • Anonymised and aggregated data. Data that has been anonymised so that it can no longer identify you is no longer personal data, and may be kept for analytics and service improvement.

Once those retention periods have passed, the remaining data is securely deleted. If you believe we still hold personal data about you after deletion, or you want something in the list above removed sooner, email support@servicedrome.com and we will action it, apart from anything we are legally required to keep. The full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

If You Cannot Access the App

If you have lost access to your account, have already uninstalled the app, or cannot complete the steps above for any reason, you can ask us to delete your account by email. You can use the same route to ask us to erase the personal data we still hold about you.

Email support@servicedrome.com with the subject line Account deletion request, and include the following so that we can find your account and confirm the request is genuine:

  • The email address registered on your Servicedrome account.
  • The phone number registered on your account, if you signed up or signed in with a phone number.
  • Your full name as it appears on the account.
  • Which account it is — Servicedrome (student) or Servicedrome Business (instructor).
  • A clear statement that you want your account deleted, and whether you also want the personal data we still hold to be erased.

Please send the request from the email address registered on the account where possible. We may ask you for additional information to verify that the account is yours before we act on the request — this protects you against someone else deleting your account.

We action deletion requests promptly and, where required by law, within 30 days of receiving a verified request. We will confirm by email once it has been completed. There is no charge for requesting deletion.
